Bill Charette
Senior Videographer, Director of Photography
Bill Charette began his career at WGBH-TV, Boston in 1970 where he worked on every major WGBH production including Julia Child’s French Chef, Zoom, Frontline, American Experience, Nova, Masterpiece Theater and the Boston Pops. Additionally, Bill served as the Director of Photography on Martha Stewart’s first Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday Specials, and the pilot for her current series.
He is founder and President of Boomers Media Properties, creators of the acclaimed public television series Boomers: Redefining Life After Fifty.
He was a founding partner of LeCain-Charette Associates, which has been involved in the production of Bob Vila, Home Again for 17 seasons. He has also worked on dozens of network specials and magazine shows including 20/20, The Today Show and the nightly network news shows.
