Last fall, Avery Dennison came to us looking for a change – a fresh perspective and a fresh new look for their launch of a revolutionary retail printer for the RBIS division.This launch, headed up by Director of Global Marketing Mark O’Donoghue, was planned for early 2015 and would require a complete media campaign, including new promotional films, instructional films in multiple languages, and product photography.
As soon as the ADTP-1 Printer was ready, Mark’s team came to our studio in Acton, MA for a full week of photography and filming work. Senior Producer Catie Foertsch headed up the video production effort, while Tim Cook served as photographer. DigiNovations secured professional talent for both the photo and video elements, and ordered props to dress the studio as a mock industrial space.
Graphics and animation were also key in creating a modern look and feel to the films. DigiNovations’ digital artist/animator Matt Frazier worked with Mark and Catie to create a digital journey using an animated line as a guide. The launch at the National Retail Federation Show in New York was a huge success, and Avery Dennison continues to build buzz in the retail industry as they roll out this incredible printer.
